Utah's Emerging AI Innovation Ecosystem

Artificial Intelligence is rapidly transforming how discoveries are made and innovations are achieved, as well as how we train the next generation for success. This session will begin with William (Bill) Miller discussing Utah’s recent investments in world-class infrastructure, including a newly deployed AI Factory supercomputer for statewide AI leadership across research, education, workforce development, and economic growth for societal benefit and impact.
After Bill's presentation, several AI experts from campus will join Bill onstage for an open-ended panel about AI topics such as societal impacts, rates of progress, public well-being, and preparation for the future. James Reynolds will moderate.
